2 weeks agoOK, I absolutly LOVE Nice. As I write this I am talking to Ariane!!! On skype. Have I mentioned how great Skype is?
Today we went to a place called Beau-lieu sur Mer or something. We visited a shell museum that had World records. It was really cool!! There were some super bright green ones and some massive ones. It was pretty cool!
After we returned to Nice, we visited a candy making place. uh oh! They made fresh fruit jellies and all sorts of things that were soooo overly expensive! We left very quickly after we got our free fruit candy. It was really good.
About €30 for a small pack of fruit jellies. Each pack had about 18 jellies. At least we got a FREE one! Tee Hee!
I had booked an “appointment” with Ariane on Skype yesterday so I was eager to get back and talk to her. But BEFORE THAT we went to a Contemporary Arts Museum. OH! And I bet you can guess how annoying I was!!
Me: “Can we go back now? I don’t wanna be late!”
Me again: “Ready?”
Me yet again: “Ok! Let’s go!”
Luckily, they were are still in their imaginary worlds since the yummy fruit candy, eh?
Sorry I hadn’t writin for a while!

3 weeks agoI love Venice! It is probably one of my favourite cities! We did a lot of walking and I bought things. Like A LOT of things! We went over to a glass making island called Murano and looked at shops. I bought a small necklace. (Not for me, but for my mom. Shhhh..). The internet here in Italy is very expensive so I haven’t beem able to post a lot of things. Tommorow is April 12th and we will arrive in Nice, France.
Before we arrived in Venice, we were in Milan. Yes, Fashion Capitol! No, I didn’t buy anything… we visited a massive Catholic Church. This Church was called Duomo. Which is kinda funny because while we were in Bangkok, we bought a toaster for making toast in the morning. Our toaster Company was called Duomo! Now we are wondering why somebody named a toaster after a large, Italian, Catholic Church!!!
It was very cold in Milan while we were out walking and Mom only brought a long sleeve. So she bought a fashionable jacket. Yes, I used ”fashionable” while talking about my mom because we were in Milan were you can’t get something that isn’t ”fashionable”…
Now we are in a city called Genova. It has wonderful buildings that are old and colourful. It is raining today but it is still nice. We are by the Mediterranean Sea.
Our hotels here in Italy have been excellent! First, The Hotel Sara, in Milan, then Brunno’s, in Venice. It isn’t actually called Brunno’s but the owner of the aprtment we rented was named Brunno. Then there is L’Albergo Argentina in Genova. They have all been excellent! L’Albergo Argentina has the cleanest washroom! Hotel Sara was very ”homey”. Brunno’s was a nicely furnished apartment with a stereo, t.v, 2 double beds, 2 floors and a very nice and clean bathroom.
Out of all those three cities, Venice was definitly my favourite! The food in Italy is deliciouse. Venice had a beautiful setting and it didn’t even smell! At ALL! It was probably just the time of year.
That’s all for now!
