Luang Prabang, Laos
Yes, I know I already have a Luang Prabang post posted but a lot has happened! First, there has been a funeral right outside our guest house/hotel! By accident, I stepped in front of the ashes of the guy and everybody stopped talking and just stared at me! Until Mom pulled me out of the way… Then they all started talking again. The “funeral/party” lasted about 3 days. Every morning at about 4:30am (which is 4:30pm for you guys) the drums at the Buddhist monastery start going and the bells and the cymbals start going too. Last night they were sooooo loud it was like having a million night clubs below us!! Ahhhhhhh….. This morning Connor and I woke up to find that my mom and dad weren’t there. Ok ok, so they told us that in the morning they didn’t like it when we were late to get up. So, Connor and I woke up at 8:45am. When Mom came in she said “Your dad is hungry and he wants to go eat breakfast now. Only then did I notice how hungry I was and jumped up got on some shorts and a t-shirt with a long sleeve over top because it is chilly in the morning and rushed out the door and we were on our way to JOMA Cafe. The owners are Canadian so, I went for the obvious choice. Waffle and whipped cream. Ofcourse the waffle came with REAL maple syrup!! Have I mentioned what I have been craving??? Well, her it goes! I crave Kraft Diner, hotdogs made on the BBQ with toasted buns. Mmmmmm….
Thanks for reading what my cravings are.
